    I thought it was interesting when you explained that one of the advantages of modern X-ray technology is that harsh chemicals are not utilized anymore. If I were to guess, another advantage is that the machines are easier for technicians to maintain and repair. Making sure that medical equipment is always functioning well is probably a high priority for technicians.
